Anthrax (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 2002 new guitarist Rob Caggiano joined the band and the following year the band released We've Come For You All, an album hailed by the metal press as a long awaited return to form.
At this time it is unclear whether John Bush and Rob Caggiano have left the band and whether the "classic" lineup is permenant or just a touring opportunity.
Scott Ian released a statement saying that John and Rob are not officially gone, but the press release announcing the reunion of the "classic" lineup seems to provide evidence to the contrary.

After talking with so many people who had personally known Rob Doe it was disheartening to review the published material on the case from a new perspective and observe the various discrepancies between what has been written by others and what was told to me by individuals close to the family in question.
A source close to the case verified for me that Rob Doe was admitted to Georgetown University Hospital under his real name on the morning of Monday, February 28, 1949 and released at 12 noon on Thursday, March 3, 1949.
While Rob Doe was unaware of it at the time, the events that centered around the troublesome teenage boy from Cottage City between January and April 1949 would later have a profound effect on people all over the globe.

Take note of the numbers on the backs of the members' cutely matching shirts, which correspond to the number of years logged in the band: founding guitarist Scott Ian wears #22, while Rob Caggiano - a warm stage presence and probably the most aggressive lead player Anthrax has ever had - sports #2.
