Full Throttle » Thanks for the Gesture Robbie
The helmet that Robby Gordon threw at Michael Waltrip was pulled off the online auction site eBay on Wednesday after bidding exceeded $10 million.
Since the original auction ran until Sunday and the re-list runs until Saturday and practice was today, I think that means Robby couldn’t, let alone the fact that he wouldn’t, pay his fine from the auction money.
In our discussion about Robbie’s trip into “antic-ville” last weekend I included a link to the original story about the helmet being placed up for auction for charity.

And, as she figures out the bizarre morality of this ancient blood feud, she also -- no surprise -- falls for the human, who has his own fall to perform.
Luckily, she has a comrade, Kahn (Robbie Gee), who sees to her weapons needs, including a new set of liquid silver nitrate bullets that seep into wolves' bloodstreams as soon as they're hit, producing a grim X-Files-y effect, dark rivulets of pain pulsing just beneath the skin.
It's worth noting that this effect occurs when the werewolves are still in human-seeming form, which they maintain even though several can "will" themselves into big menacing wolf form (these transformations tend to take too long on screen, since, like most werewolf movies, this one is rather in love with its transformation effects).

A habitual gambler, Frankie is set up by another crook, Boris the Blade (Rade Sherbedgia), to be mugged at the bookmaker while placing a big bet on one of Turkish's unlicensed, underground boxing matches.
However, a pair of pawnshop owners Vinny and Sol (Robbie Gee and Lennie James) hired to hit Frankie bungle the job, setting off a domino effect of bad luck among London's second-tier criminal types.
And he puts the pedal to the metal in this consistently entertaining felony farce for the hip at heart.
