		Wilcox was born in 1855 on the island of Maui.
		Wilcox served in Congress from November 6, 1900 to March 3, 1903, and was succeeded by Prince Kūhiō (Republican) after the Home Rule Party tore itself apart.
		Robert second wife was Princess Theresa Owana Kaohelelani Laanui of the Kamehameha Dynasty.
