		It repeats, in different forms, two of RoboCop's opening scenes: the mutilation of Murphy and the malfuntioning "robot" shooting someone at OCP (but the second is a pretty good gag).
		RoboCop 2 begins as a story about Murphy longing for his old life and his wife's fear and confusion.
		RoboCop has his mind filled with contradictory and silly commands by OCP, which leads to an amusing scene, but then that's over.

	RoboCop 2 - Retrospective review
		The enjoyment of ROBOCOP 2 as a film can be damaged if you compare it to the original though.
		I think that Frank Miller laid the barebones of the RoboCop 2 script, Walon Green changed it around, deleted characters-added characters, and action set pieces from Ed and Miner probably found there way in there, taken from their orignal ROBOCOP 2 first draft.
		RoboCop is about a mans struggle with life(?) as a cyborg though.

		Robocop 2 is another movie which adds weight to the argument that sequels basically suck.
		Few sequels work, those that do are usually radical rethinks of the movie whih came before and have very few elements of the original in them, or make use of more modern technology to blow the predecessor away with flashy special effects and the like.
		Robocop 2 followed on too closely to its predecessor for that to ever be a viability and went for the highly obvious 'evil robot'; plot for its main focus rather than coming up with a surprising take on the old idea.

		But even Robocop is removed when a new scheming corporate businesswoman at OCP will do anything to get to the top, including screwing the CEO, ruining Robocop and replacing him with the Nuke drug lord, Cain.
