Due to the increasing population of Columbia, and the crowding of Hickman High School towards the end of the 1960's, the Columbia Board of Education decided to form a new high school.
Boasting 18 Advanced Placement cources and a multitude of honors classes available to students, Rock Bridge is one of the most academically advanced high schools in the state of Missouri.
Rock Bridge houses many school clubs, the most notorious being 'Kawaii Club.' They are known to wear anime costumes and watch strange Japanese television shows.
