Point Pelee National Park is a peninsula in southwestern Ontario (near Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan) that extends into Lake Erie and is the part of Canada's mainland furthest south.
Ontario is bounded on the north by Hudson Bay and James Bay, on the east by Quebec, on the west by Manitoba, and on the south by the American states of Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
Ontario's right to Northwestern Ontario was determined by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in 1884 and confirmed by the Canada (Ontario Boundary) Act, 1889 of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

 Welcome to National Capital Commission - Parks, Heritage and Development
This picturesque park overlooking the dramatic falls and rapids on the Rideau River was one of the last creations of the Federal District Commission (1927-1958) before it was transformed into the NCC in 1959.
The decorations in the park were designed to represent the Canadian federation, with floral emblems from each province and territory and two stylized fountains to suggest the five Great Lakes and the vast forests of Canada.
Sold to the City of Ottawa in 1903, the park was maintained for most of the 20th century by the NCC and its predecessors.

The entire former Village of Rockcliffe Park was designated as a Heritage Conservation District under the Ontario Heritage Act in 1997.
The Rockcliffe Park Residents’ Association was informed of the project and the Heritage Sub-committee of the Association commented on the proposal.
Initially, members of the Heritage Sub-committee of the Rockcliffe Park Residents’ Association were concerned about the loss of this building because of its age and status as one of the few remaining wood frame houses in the Village.

This trolley park was developed by The Ottawa Electric Railway whom had completed the double tracking of the line only a few weeks earlier.
Nothing further has surfaced on this park, except that it was open in winter for skiing.

I guess it's fair to say that the total tax burden in Ontario, including the taxes levied by all provinces, is among the highest in the Dominion of Canada, and it has increased faster than the national average; in fact, between 1981 and 1993 it increased from 31.8% of GDP to 37%.
In 1994, I attended the Association of Municipalities of Ontario annual conference and heard the then leader of the third party, Mike Harris, stun delegates with his announcement that his party would reduce the number of municipalities in Ontario by one third to eliminate waste and duplication.

This time it was seen on the trail south of the Pine Grove Parking Lot, past the turn to the OFNC Feeder and about 500 yard further south where there are a number of Red Pines down.
From southern Ontario, there are many, many reports of Franklin's Gulls being found all over, not only southern Ontario but all of the northeastern United States.
There was a Horned Grebe at Dick Bell Park on the 1st and at Dick Bell Park on the 3rd there were 2 White-winged Scoter and 2 Common Loon along with 3 Red-breasted Mergansers.

It is a viable and much more interesting alternative to droning along 401 or 417, for Ontario riders working their way towards Montreal.

In a brief speech, Network Chairman, Hans Peter Duah said the visit was to welcome the new High Commissioner to Canada and to offer the Network’s cooperation to the High Commissioner in his job to attract and develop political and economic partnerships between Canada and Ghana.
Membership is open to all Ghanaian-Canadians and friends of Ghana who share the political and economic ideology of the Network for Patriotism and Progress.
