 | | Hyperactive tempos and subject matter that was fun, but not utterly mindless, were new to me under the guise of rock and roll. |
 | | To the uninitiated, the songs on Rocket to Russia, and of the Ramones in general, might seem repetitive and uninteresting, due to an oft-used song structure and dynamic, and the band's lack of technical proficiency. |
 | | Rocket to Russia won't do much to dissuade these people, but tracks like "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow", "I Don't Care" and "I Wanna Be Well" are interesting and different bookends to three or four song sets of standard Ramones fare. |
