The RiverHawks’ lease at Marinelli Field will be renewed for another year unless the team withdraws from the agreement before Oct. 15, said Dan Gundrum, recreation facilities manager for the Rockford Park District, which owns the stadium.

The Riverhawks have signed on with the city of Loves Park, IL (just northeast of Rockford)for a new stadium, scheduled to open in 2005.
Not a bad place to see a game; the sightlines are clear, unless you're sitting behind a light pole (they're placed in front of the stands), but the seats are kind of far from the playing field.
Talking to the staff on 8/11, I was told that the Riverhawks had already made enough money to pay for their lease in 2003.
