Rod was also ahead of his time doing movies that were not entirely popular with the larger audience at the time, but some of his movies dealt with issues that were not so commonly dealt with at the time either.
Rod Taylor may not have the same popularity that he had in his earlier days, but it is remarkable that after all these years, he still has a large and loyal fan base from the U.S. to Europe and Australia, with a terrific internet website dedicated just to him.
