		Mark Tyler, a CITGO Bassmaster Tour competitor best known for the record-setting 14-pound, 9-ounce largemouth he caught in the California Delta — the current big bass standard for Bassmaster events — is yet another Western pro who swears by the frog.
		At other times in the spring, when vegetation or cover is under the surface, Tyler often casts his frog up on the bank and then drags it into the water; he does this to make the lure appear as natural as possible and to avoid spooking shallow fish.
		Tyler also often targets riprap, and as he does in the spring, he frequently tosses his frog up on the rocks, then hops it off to offer a more natural presentation.
