From 1983 to 1989 Roger Climpson was contracted by AMP Society to present their radio and television commercials and documentaries.
Roger Climpson is the recipient of numerous awards including the Television Society of Australia’s Best Newsreader Award (1978); the Producer’s & Director’s Guild Of Australia Lifetime Achievement Award (1994); the Rotary Vocational Excellence Award (1995); the Variety of Australia’s "The Television Award" (1995); and the Bible Society’s Flame Award (1998).
In 2004 Roger Climpson was awarded The Medal of the Order of Australia in the General Division for services to the media, particularly through the Christian Broadcasting Association and to the community through a range of service groups.

Professional narrators Jennifer Richards, Kate Flaherty, Nick McKay and John Schwarz led the congregation through the various Bible passages leading to the Resurrection.
