The Crested Wood Partridge, Rollulus roulroul is a gamebird in the pheasant family Phasianidae of the order Galliformes, gallinaceous birds.
It is the only member of the genus Rollulus (Bonnaterre, 1791).
It is also known as the Crested Partridge, Roul-roul, Red-crowned Wood Partridge or Green Wood Partridge.

For the project requirement of the internship, an egg log data file for the crested wood partridge (Rollulus rouloul) was created using Microsoft Excel.
Once this was completed, a factor in regards to hatchability was selected and an analysis was performed.
This information can be applied not only to maintaining animal collections but to threatened and endangered species recovery.

The Roul-roul Partridge is the sole member of the Genus Rollulus and has no known subspecies.
Unlike the Rock Partridges, Genus Alectoris, the sexes are different.
