	Orthographic Variation in Korean
		An important factor contributing to the complexity of the Korean writing system is the use of multiple scripts.
		Korean is written in a mixture of three scripts: an alphabetic syllabary called hangul, Chinese characters called hanja, and the Latin alphabet called romaja.
		Orthographic variation across scripts is not uncommon: the same word can be written in hangul, hangul mixed with numerals, hanja, or even English.

	Bosnia Report -March - June 2000
		Housed in a restored 19th-century Ottoman mansion (Konak of Niyazi Halil Ismail Bey/Begovski konak), it is a general museum with a small ethnographic and archaeological collection and mementos of World War II.
		Also housed in an old Ottoman building, it has a collection of artefacts from archaeological excavations at Romaja and other sites in the Prizren area.
		Established as the Miladin Popovic Museum after World War II in honor of a local Communist Party leader and hero of the Partisan resistance, it subsequently acquired the mineral collection of a local cultural and scientific society active in Peja between the wars, along with a small ethnographic collection.

		Korean is essentially an alphabetical script, so an input method in which ‘one key means one letter’ is the most convenient for the Koreans themselves; the Korean keyboard layout was already used on mechanical typewriters.
		They are not used by the Koreans themselves, only by foreigners (in contrast to the Japanese ‘Romaji’ input methods, which are used by most Japanese).
