Everybody in the world must already know how much the derby means for a city like Rome, but living here gives that special something more, to live it through the bones, and try to tell everybody the reasons why.
While Lazio was trying, other 3 teams were playing in Rome (Fortitudo, Roman and Alba), but they were not coming up any result, so they decided to come together in 1927 and form a stronger team to compete with the Northern ones.
But later on, starting in the middle of the '70s themselves and in the early '80s, we had to face a further change, and while we were losing the little sense of devotion to the country our fathers used to have, young people started to feel the need to belong to a very defined group.
