The complaints against the special effects are merit-less, the Star Trek special effects crew has become masters at giving us the most bang their budget allows.
I'm not exactly a Star Trek fanatic, although I was fascinated by "Star Trek: The Next Generation" when I was a kid, but I still wanted to see this movie, hearing that it would be the last Star Trek movie.

The fourth outing for the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, directed by Stuart Baird, Nemesis finds Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and his crew locking horns with the Remans, the supposedly weaker of the two species inhabiting the twin planets of Romulus and Remus.
The main new theme, as set out in the second half of 'Remus' is the one for Shinzon himself, a strident piece replete with synthesised percussion, electronic effects, and a set of rolling, undulating horn triplets not dissimilar to those he used in The Edge, The Thirteenth Warrior and others.
However, and despite all the generally positive-sounding descriptive text above, I still feel that Goldsmith spent much of Star Trek: Nemesis working on autopilot, and that this is probably least-memorable Trek score of the entire series to date.

This has to be one of the best Star Trek films to date.
Star Trek: TNG happens to be the best among all Star Trek Series EVER for me and growing up with this series on the sideline, it has been a part of my life.
