Ron Brewer was born in Gunning in 1921.
Ron was a great mentor to me in the pursuit of my goal, since 1996, of representing the people of the Goulburn district, and he was always a great source of advice since I achieved that goal in 1999.
Ron Brewer also served with honour in local government, being the mayor of Mulwaree shire until he was elected to the New South Wales Parliament.

Brewer was a valued member of SEM and was active in both leadership and technical activities.
Ron spent his formative years in Pittsburgh, graduated in 1979 from Penn State with a BS in Civil Engineering, then joined the Experimental Stress Analysis lab at Boeing.
Ron is a past recipient of SEM's Zandman award and is an Associate Technical Fellow of the Boeing Co. He'd rather be golfing.

Brewer is someone I do think could be of importance for us, let's not forget that he has not gotten much of a chance here, last year he had to fight so many unseen factors that I'm amazed he's still considered.
I think there's something to what Ron says, if his defence is half as good as he says it is it will be well worth getting him on the roster.
Ron is the only player that has a lot of trade value, and I will not trade Ron for Dampier.

He led the team in scoring in the 1978 Final Four year and in the regional final, Brewer hit a jumper with less than a minute to play, helping Arkansas beat Cal State-Fullerton, 61-58, to send the Hogs to the Final Four.
After losing in the semifinals, Brewer hit the game-winner at the buzzer in the third-place game, giving Arkansas a 71-69 win over Notre Dame.
