 Roger L. Simon: Silver Star
What is most interesting to me about the latest stories on Ron Silver, is that they all acknowledge the liberal Democrat hegemony in Hollywood, and all lead off asking him if this is going to hurt his career.
Compared with the other celebrities on both sides, Silver comes off as supremely knowledgeable (at least on modern historical aspects), he speaks to points rather than vainly trying to score them with put downs or non-sequiturs (unlike Ron Reagan who does no else and therefore has been soundly thrashed by Silver in their conflicts).
Silver shares our host's disdain for the social ideas of the current administration but as far as the security of this country and the world he has been able to lift the blinders of party loyalty and come to a rational conclusion about who should lead this country in the struggle against Islamo-Fascism.
