Former Men At Work guitarist Ron Strykert was ordered to be jailed for failure to pay court ordered childe support and contempt of court in his adopte home state of Montana.
Strykert owes $38,000 in a property settlement and $8,000 in overdue child support.
Strykert, who left the band in 1990 to join the Church Universal And Triumphant, told the judge he will mortgage his $250,000 home.

In 1978 Colin met guitarist Ron Strykert when both were working in Sydney on the stage musical 'Heroes'.
Colin and Ron decided to form an acoustic duo and, playing around Melbourne, started building up the catalogue of songs which would become the basis of Men At Work's repertoire.
Rod Strykert left of his own accord, and Hay and Ham struggled on.

Strykert is a member of the Church Universal and Triumphant, founded by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and lives in Corwin Springs, a housing development established by the New Age sect where rock music was banned for years.

The band -- which originally included drummer Jerry Speiser, bassist John Rees and guitarist Ron Strykert -- was a phenomenon in the early '80s.
Hay, who still has a Scottish accent, emigrated to Australia with his family when he was 14, partly in hopes the warm climate would ease his asthma.
