Ron Tyson (born Ronald Tyson Presson on February 8 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American tenor/falsetto singer and songwriter.
Tyson, raised in Monroe, North Carolina, is the current tenor for long-lived singing group The Temptations, filling the role made famous by Eddie Kendricks in the 1960s.
Tyson, who succeeds Kendricks, Ricky Owens, Damon Harris, and Glenn Leonard as the Temptations' falsetto, has been a member of the group for over twenty years, a tenure second only to group founder Otis Williams, who has been in the group over forty years.
