A target's statement should contain all of the information available to the target company's board which holders of bid class securities and their advisers would reasonably require to make an informed assessment whether to accept an offer under the bid.

Rattoon's return is a bit of a lottery - Christopher Webb - Opinion
The connection with Sir Ronald Brierley has also been highlighted by those trying to spruik the company, but the corporate raider of yesteryear would doubtless have more important things on his mind nowadays, such as the cricket.
Indeed, whether Sir Ronald would be happy to have his name bandied about in relation to Rattoon is unclear because when it came to raiding share registers, what Rattoon achieved was a pale shadow of what the master would have done in his heyday.
Sir Ronald's personal Rattoon holding would, at last report, get him about $269,000 of Tatts stock, compared with a cost price for his Rattoon holding of $250,000.

Sir Ronald Alfred Brierley has many interests - stamps, coins and the business of twine to name a few - but cricket will always be his chief passion.
Yesterday the Guinness Peat Group chairman left his usual Lowes garb in the cupboard, donned a suit and tie, and headed to the State Library to give a speech.
Brevity is the soul of wit, however, and Brierley noted that if the library valued its entire collection at $1.9 billion then he perhaps he should offer $2 billion.
