 | | Following the failed commercial success of 2001's "Nation," Sepultura aborted their contract with Roadrunner records and signed with SPV records for the follow up, 2003's "Roorback." This album is the group's tenth album total, but only their third album without original vocalist Max Cavalera and with Derrick Green behind the mic. |
 | | On the plus side, "Roorback" is the group's heaviest album since Max left the band. |
 | | Likewise, the album opening tune, "Come Back Alive," is fast, with a steam rolling main riff; "As It Is" is a catchy chugger with humming bass notes and some fine drumming by Igor; and, lastly, "Leech" is an explosive thrasher. |
