Perica - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Perica (pronounced: [ˌpεˈrɪ.ʦa]) is a common Croatian and Serbian male given name, and is also a prevalent surname.
Perica is the diminutive form of the name Pero (in the same way that, for example, the name Ivica is the diminutive form of the name Ivo).
In Croatia and Serbia, in the context of entertainment, the name Perica commonly portrays a stereotype of an innocent little boy with a very straightforward way of thinking (a perfect example of this is the character Perica Šafranek in the 1970 Croatian comedy film Tko pjeva zlo ne misli).
