Rosecliff - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rosecliff is one of the fabled Gilded Age mansions of Newport, Rhode Island, now open to the public as a museum.
It was built by Theresa Fair Oelrichs, a silver heiress from Nevada, and wife of Hermann Oelrichs, American agent for Norddeutscher Lloyd.
Rosecliff stayed in the Oelrichs family until 1941, then went through several changes of ownership before being donated to the Preservation Society of Newport County, who opened it to the public for tours.

Rosecliff, approximately 10 minutes from the Lansdale Interchange of the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, consists of 89 townhouses on 20 acres.
The land for Rosecliff was originally zoned for shopping center use, but the property was an elevated parcel with poor visibility and access from the intersection.
We secured municipal land development approval on the re-zoned Rosecliff tract, and sold the property to a local builder for the construction of the townhouses.
