		ROSETO: THE PLACE TO GO The Borough of Roseto (population 1,555) is located in the northeastern corner of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, in the shadow of the Pocono Mountains, not far from Pennsylvania Dutch settlements.
		Roseto is in the so-called "slate belt" area, and is about fifteen miles from the county seat at Easton, eighty miles from Philadelphia, and ninety miles from New York City.
		Roseto has been the subject of three books in the last thirty years: The Two Rosetos (1974), The Power of the Clan (1993) and The Roseto Story which discuss in detail the effect of powerful communal and familial ties on the health of Rosetan citizens.
