At the age of eight years, Dawood Sahib was initiated into vocal music and the rudiments of tabla by Ameer Quawwal, a classical vocalist and traditional Natiya Quawwal of Sholapur.
Roshan Ali Mooljee, Music Director at the Radio station were impressed by Dawood Sahib's accompaniment.
