Asa underwent a sophisticated heart surgery the week before - in which electrical impulses were sent in to correct his heartbeat irregularity - and he was able to resume running immediately, including joining his teammates in taking part in the runathon.
Their project was suggested by the local police chief, who pointed out the huge concrete water stations (part of the Irrigation District infrastructure) along the sides of rural roads were blighted with graffiti and gang markings.
With the help of Berks Towing and police officers, a two-car crash that involved six youths, including one who had been "drinking," was staged by the Nooksack Boys and Girls Club and United for Youth.

Though recently converted into a public museum, the grounds still retain their original appearance.The five, single-story wooden hallways radiating from the rear of the building were the actual residences of the inmates once incarcerated here.
Trenton, NJ The museum is a one-story building on the grounds of the NJ State Corrections Academy that houses a collection of contraband confiscated from prisoners in the 1970’s, as well as New Jersey’s electric chair.
The Museum focuses on the trials and tribulations of Singaporeans, the Prisoners-of-War (POWs) and civilian internees who were incarcerated by the Japanese during the occupation years of 1942 to 1945.

A reconstruction of a North West Mounted Police (NWMP) stockade fort.
The store is a fur trade history museum, and the visitor center is in a reconstruction of the 1879 home of the Post Factor (overseer).
Also located near here is the site of a 1776 trading post, just west of the city, and an 1887 NWMP guardhouse at the Rotary Museum of Police and Corrections.

In additional to her Police career, Momi was a member of Pilots International (a woman's organization similar to Rotary), International 16, and the Chinese Women's Club.

The Tampa police, led by community-service officer and adoptive mother Maryann Hunsberger, came to the aid of Skip and Susan Sampson, who have 10 kids ages 4-15, seven adopted.
The bears were given to eight organizations, including the fire and police departments, the Women's Crisis Center and a hospital.
Twenty-five teens in a young offenders program served their community instead of serving time by tearing down three dilapidated barns, recycling the wood to craft 135 wheelbarrow planters, selling them for $10 each to raise money for tools and paint, and refurbishing a 100-year-old farmhouse that hadn't been painted in 26 years.

Opened in 1985 this museum was the original North West Mounted Police Guardroom constructed around 1887 when Prince Albert was still the capital of the North West Territories.
The Rotary Club provided the funding to move the Guardroom from its original location to the present site and for its restoration.
Corrections have always played a major role in the history of Prince Albert and the many correctional institutions have provided some interesting items for viewing.

Indiana State Police said Schmidt was one of five men wearing ski masks who broke in to Lamunion's home just south of Leiters Ford.
As they fled, police said, Lamunion got his rifle and fired one shot at Schmidt, striking him in the back and killing him.
Land said police weren't immediately able to tell if anything was stolen during the incident.

As has been their habit, they can't make a decision on the obvious until they take 30 days or much more at which time they decide what they could have in the initial proposal.
I wonder if their inability to do their job in a timely manner is part of the insane cement plant going up in a residential area east of town.
