		Dowty Rotol is the final incarnation of three major British aviation supply firms, Dowty Equipment, Rotol Airscrews and British Messier, which merged in 1960.
		Rotol Airscrews was formed in 1937 by Rolls-Royce and Bristol Engines to take over both company's propeller development, the market being too small to really need more than one company in this space.
		Rotol props were always considered leading edge, their models equipping the Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire, and many other World War II-era aircraft.

		It's a blade for a Rotol R22/4F5/8 propeller fitted to Seafire Mks XV and XVII and made by F. Hills and Sons (originally Jablo Propellers) in Manchester.
		Sounds like a Jablo blade actually made by Rotol as they are the only people I know of that used W as a part of their serials.
		If you find any, (especially if they start with RA as that would be the Rotol drawing number) let us know and we can have a look and see if we can trace what type of prop and what types of aircraft it may have been used on.
