The luxury saloon car from Rover, the 75 was launched on June 17th 1999, and was the first car to carry the 75 badge since the classic motoring days of the 1950's.

The last Rover which was based on a Honda was the 45 and that had been updated so much by the end of production that it's Honda DNA what not apparent.
The 25 was a big supermini but because of BMWs stupid pricing strategy back in the late 90's (when the 25 was the 200) it was always marketed a size bigger than it was and thus failed a bit because it was too expensive for its size.
However, when it became the 25 and ownership returned to British hands, it was rightfully priced as a supermini, and had tonnes more space than the Fiesta/Corsa et cetra.
