	Napsters assets to be acquired by Roxio
		Roxio, spun off in September, 2000 as a independently operating company by Adaptec, is the leading developer of Media recording and authoring software, such as the popular Toast Titanium and Jam for the Apple Macintosh, and Easy CD Creator Platinum for PC’s running Windows operating system.
		Roxio's purchase of Napster's assets is subject to approval of the bankruptcy court.

		I have been all mover the Roxio web site to try and find an update for CDSpinDoctor which was a component of Toast Titanium5, but with no luck.
		Roxio have a help system called 'Roxanne' and she reckons that CDSpinDoctor was updated for Max OSX - but she doesn't tell me how to get the update.
		Roxio is the first software company I have ever known who do not accept email from people with a genuine question.

	Roxio Plans To Revive Napster Service
		Roxio, most well know for their CD-creation software titles such as “EZ CD Creator” and “Toast” purchased Napster for five million dollars at a bankruptcy sale in November of 2002.
		Roxio Inc, the current owners of the Napster name and it’s associated intellectual property, has just announced that they are in negotiations with the five major record labels to provide content for a new-pay-per download online music service.
		A spokeswoman for Roxio says that they will work with the major labels to ensure that the service is 100% legal and does not infringe on copyright laws.

	Roxio Popcorn owner reports
		On the Roxio forums it appears that the company has said it is a glitch they are aware of and they hope to fix that in a future update.
		According to posts on Roxio's Popcorn forum this likely is due to the DVD being ripped using a setting other than the Full Disc extraction.

		I understand Roxio is working on an update to Toast which fixes some 10.2 problems, but this may not solve the SCSI issue which is more likely to be Apple's domain.
		I have a Sony Spressa USB CD burner that I could only get working under Toast 4.1.3 under Mac OS 9.
		If your burner isn't supported by OS X in the USB enclosure, it may not be supported as an internal drive either, although your chances might be somewhat higher as an internal drive (I don't think USB burner support in OS X is as great as Firewire or IDE burner support).
