He previously had a glowing playing career with Celtic and played 57 games for the Scotland national football team, scoring once.

Poor aitken, he has to work with O'deary for ages, then he gets bloomin ill and more likely than not he is going to get the sack.
Well if we have to pay up Aitken's 2 year contract, it makes sense to keep him as some sort of trainer, he must know the players, if it doesn't work get rid.
