Roy David McMillan (July 17, 1929 - November 2, 1997) was a shortstop and manager in Major League Baseball.
McMillan, who spent 10 seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, was his team’s glue between the infield and outfield in the 1950s.
Roy McMillan was inducted to the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 1971.

McMillan was a member of Captain James Gillaspie's Company at San Jacinto and on November 16, 1838 he received Donation Certificate No. 603 for 640 acres of land for having participated in the battle.
McMillan died in March, 1865 and is buried in the Camp Creek cemetery eight miles east or Franklin, Robertson County, in an unmarked grave.
McMillan was born in Tennessee, and died in 1879 and is buried beside her husband.

In 1960 Leo Cardenas appeared in Cincinnati that season he shared the SS duties with Roy and his play must have convinced Bill DeWitt to move ahead with his first deal as the new Reds owner that winter when flipped McMillan to the Braves Jay and Pizarro in December of 1960.
Like Roy McMillan Davey was able to share his spot with his eventual successor and that alone avoided a gap in the SS legacy since the earlier one in 1969.

In a complaint filed today in U.S. District Court in Jackson, the Justice Department accused Jackson resident Charles Roy McMillan of threatening and intimidating employees on two separate occasions at the Jackson Women's Health Organization (JWHO) in May 1995.
It claims that McMillan allegedly told several employees entering JWHO that they looked like birds waiting to be shot and then pantomimed shooting them.
Finally, it asks McMillan to compensate the driver of the damaged vehicle, pay damages to JWHO employees, and pay civil penalties to the U.S. treasury.
