We were in Bahrain for the in-port phase of the tri-national (UK, US and Bahraini) Exercise Neon Falcon at the time of the last update.
We sailed from Bahrain on the 19 February in company with USS Thach and were joined by Type 22 frigate HMS Chatham, the auxiliary RFA Bayleaf and several units of the Bahraini Navy, including the flagship BNS Sabha.
This included gunnery exercises and a long-range surface encounter exercise against enemy units, simulated in this instance by the Chatham and air defence exercises against units of the Bahraini Air Force.
