Jacobs holds the record for the most eliminations in the Royal Rumble match, having eliminated eleven opponents at the 2001 Royal Rumble.
Jacobs has twice helped to bury The Undertaker in Buried Alive matches, interfering in his "brother's" matches at both Rock Bottom 1998 and Survivor Series 2003.
He also holds the record for the longest duration in the rumble at nearly seventy minutes, as the 6th entrant in the Rumble that same year.

The two feuded all through the first half of 1998 with Shamrock defeating the Rock at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania XIV but having both decisions reversed and not winning the title.
Shamrock had started as a professional wrestler in small promotions in the Carolinas, being managed by Paul Jones, and from there he went to Japan, namely the Japanese UWF and its successor promotions, Fujiwara Gumi and Pancrase.
Although Shamrock had more experience, he was soundly defeated by a TKO in the first round, thus instantly establishing Franklin as a legitimate threat to other UFC competitors.

Wrestling was definitely on TV in Poughkeepsie, NY in the 1970s, but I never really watched it.
