Rozz is perhaps the most genuine modern Gothic artist in the sense that his meloncholia and agitation mirror the pangs of the original 1800's dark-romantic artists such as Shelley, Baudelaire and Goethe.
Rozz inhabited a darkened world of pain and deep personal suffering, and his agony transcended to his music, creating a frightening mirror of a profoundly sensitive human spirit trapped amidst the terrors of a living Hell.

Months before his suicide, singer/musician/writer Rozz Williams (best known for his work with the bands Christian Death, Shadow Project, and Premature Ejaculation) collaborated with underground filmmaker Nico B. on a short film that was to be an exploration of dark fantasies and imagery.
Figuring heavily into the mix is the abstract artwork of Rozz Williams himself, primarily in the form of collages and dadaist object collections seen throughout the scenes, and Williams' own soundtrack; a DAT recorder collage of ambient and experimental sound work with found material (similar to artists like Hafler Trio or Zoviet France).
Rozz Williams' bio, in a morbid stroke, contains the complete contents of his suicide note, while the bio of Nico B. includes a list of all of the places where Pig received a theatrical screening as well as a few glimpses at reviews for the film.

While most people know Rozz as the front man of the Goth band Christian Death or the Industrial Premature Ejaculation, few are familiar with his last band Daucus Karota.
This was the mid-90's and Rozz, always looking for a new direction, chose a trash rock sound very reminiscent of the New York Dolls and the Spiders From Mars: unrefined, dissonant, drug addled, sexual, minimalist, yet refined with a conscious air of drama and theatre.
Budding Rozz fans should overlook this album and head straight for the Christian Death catalog.
