The ruddy shelduck is a rust-coloured bird that appears as a cross between a duck and a goose, measuring 61-67cm when full grown, and with a wingspan of 121-124cm.
The ruddy shelduck is omnivorous, primarily feeding on land-based plant material, but will also eat aquatic plant life, upending in the manner of ducks.

It looks a bit dark and contrasting on the head, although in some respects is quite close to a female Ruddy Shelduck.
Certainly got a lot of Ruddy Shelduck in it, but it doesn't look a full-blooded one, probably hybridised with something.
There are also hybrids Ruddy shellduck x Egyptian goose, but In those hybrids you clearly see the influence of the latter.
