360 Degrees of Rudy Giuliani - Elites TV - Your Elite News Source
It’s very similar to how people can claim that a presidential candidate is “soft on terror.” No one in their right minds is soft on terror, it’s just a political speak item that is used to drum up fears in voters.
But instead we got the “Rudy as the Hero” story, and it has grown so large that he finds himself speaking at the RNC and fielding questions about a Presidential run.
Rudy Giuliani is the classic example of a media created hero who is currently acing his role.

Random Observations: James Woods as Rudy Guiliani
Woods had script approval with "Rudy," and he exercised it, noting that when he took the project his mother told him, "Don't let them screw this up." When he read an early version of the script, he noticed that on page five the word "village idiot" was used in connection with the White House.
It portrays Rudy as only seeing the WTC after the second plane had impacted.
I was left with an admiration for Guiliani's problem-solving abilities.

Fineman: Will Rudy Giuliani Run for President? - Newsweek Politics - MSNBC.com
Rudy Giuliani may or may not run for president.
Among the Southern-bred conservatives—the heart of the Reagan-Bush party, after all—much of the early smart money is on Sen. George Allen, followed by the soon-to-be-retiring Sen. Bill Frist and the rapidly re-emerging and always provocative Newt Gingrich.
All of which makes Rudy Giuliani's intentions pivotal—"maybe the most important chess piece on the table right now," said a GOP strategist close to McCain, who declined to discuss a potential rival on the record.

Rudy Guiliani once again licks Bush's boots, with a greedy eye toward the treats his master will dispense if elected.

Edwards seized on comments former New York City Mayor Rudy Guiliani made on NBC's ``Today'' show Thursday in which he said the troops in Iraq, not the president, bore the responsibility for searching for the explosives.

Like you, I don't think Rudy really has a shot with the pro-choice albatross hanging from his neck; GOP primary voters will toss him overboard unless a national security crisis like 9/11 pushes social issues to the back-burner even for the Christian conservatives.
We wouldn't even be talking about Rudy if he hadn't been the mayor of NYC on 9/11/2001, and that's not evidence that he would make a good president.
Guiliani is a fiscal conservative, neo-liberal free trader, supply sider, who will most likely come out anti-roe and anti-gay marriage.

Tonight I sat in a room with about 1,200 others listening to Rudy Guiliani speak.
Although it wasn't a political event, I'm pretty sure that most the crowd was either ambivalent or warm towards Guiliani, and probably more towards the conservative end of the political spectrum.
As Rudy talked about investigating the mafia, becoming mayor of New York and fighting crime, standing up against terrorism, and finally about the importance of holding a steadfast position on the war in Iraq, I had an interesting realization.
