ET's Rugby League is also known as Wembley Rugby League in England, the only difference between the two versions is the inclusion of English competition sides rather than the NSWRL teams, and the game runs at around twice the speed of ET's Rugby League.
The fact that the game is rugby league, and it does play very well and is a heck of a lot of fun in spite of these flaws, hides the fact that these flaws exist.
It is a great rugby league game, and well worth your time, for sure, but it shows its age (12/13 years) and certainly doesn't beat out ARL 96 as an overall game, especially in multiplayer.

Australia is the only country to have won the Rugby World Cup twice and the arrival of Sailor, who was a key member of the Australian team that won last year's rugby league World Cup, would strengthen its squad to defend its title at home in 2003.
