De rumble pak werkt natuurlijk alleen bij spellen die hem ondersteunen.

For example a long rumble would occur when you defeat a boss, a medium length rumble would occur when you use a Turbo Boost and a short 'rumblette' would occur when you are hit by an enemy.
The Rumble Pak contains a small vibrating motor, similar to the ones used in vibrating phones and pagers, this battery is powered by two AAA batteries, which are included when you buy a new Rumble Pak.

By the same token, if you want to use the Rumble Pak feature, when the game says to insert the Rumble Pak if you wish to use one, you simply flip the switch to either 'High' or 'Low' (wimp!).
If the rumble starts to be to much for you, you can always flip the switch back to the 'Low' setting...
A 'Pak' is one of those items which is supposed to just kinda be there and do its job, but the Mad Catz Force Pack+ seems to feel the need to show off a bit.

The eWin rumble pak can be purchased for approximately £7/$10 and is available in fl, white and pink colours, making it considerably cheaper than the official pak and also available in a choice of colours.
The plastic doesn't quite have the same glossy finish that the official rumble pak and dust covers do on the top of the casing, but its still got a smooth finish to it and won't look out of place in your DS (providing, unlike me, that you have matching colours!).
When the rumble is being used, the cartridge emits a buzzing noise, quite unlike the noise found in regular controllers with rumble.

It consists of two parts, a normal 'Pak' type part which fits into your N64 controller, and a small 'dongle' which plugs into the controller port and has a port in it for your N64 controller to be plugged into.
Tilt Pak is seen by the N64 as a Rumble Pak, and works very well as such.

Metroid Prime Pinball was the perfect game to test the Rumble Pak with, as the game itself involved a whole lot of rumbling whenever the ball hit a bumper.
The Rumble Pak can be used with other Nintendo DS games that support the rumble feature, although to date there are less than 20 NDS games which offer rumble support.
This third party Rumble Pak is definitely much cheaper than the original, and offers a smaller form factor that fits into the DS Lite perfectly.

Seems not even if you're using a GameCube controller, which is capable of rumbling away to its little heart's content, will you get any feedback from an N64 VC game.
Nothing was better than Ocarina of time, using the rumble to detect when you were over a hidden hole in the ground.
I love the rumble feature in games, shouldn't take too much effort to program the N64 games to recognize the GCN rumble motor as a rumble pak and enable it.

I am currently detecting if it is a rumble pak or plain open bus by the fact that the rumble pak seems to pull AD1 low, or at least keep it from mirroring A1 during an open-bus read.
The firmware can detect the Rumble Pak as an option pak, but it does not provide an enable/disable rumble option in the alarm menu (on v3 firmware).

The rumble pak is absolutely tiny when compared to the mamoth weight we used to have to clip into the bottoms of our N64 controllers back in the old days.

It is unknown how many games will be compatible with the Rumble Pak with it has been confirmed that Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (which launches on November 28) will work with the Pak.
I don't care so much about Hunters, but if the Pak is going to work with the highly anticipated Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing: Wild World I would say that Metroid Prime Pinball is going to quickly become a huge success.

The Nintendo DS Rumble Pak is a device the size and shape of a GBA cartridge that will fit in either the original DS or the DS Lite, though it will protrude from the latter like any GBA cartridge.
The Rumble Pak doesn't overextend itself in Metroid Prime Pinball, mainly because it engages only when Samus hits a bumper or is attacked by an enemy.
The Rumble Pak has basically one function in the game--to indicate when Samus is hit by an enemy--though there are a few cut scenes that use the effect to enhance the story.
