Rundale Palace seems so out of place, a canary yellow confection stuck in the middle of a rural area, across the street from the palace you could hear cows mooing.
The entrance fee to get into the palace is practically nothing for a palace this grand, not sure exactly how many rooms have been restored and opened for viewing but it was at least 25 or 30 including the magnificent Gold Room.
There were a couple of separate exhibits, one for palace treasures that we visited for a small extra charge and one on the Lutheran church that we did not.
