Besides the Russian navy, the Indian navy is the only one to be equipped with the Klub missiles, which are capable of carrying nuclear warheads and have land-attack variants.
The common interpretation of Russian resurgence would be similar to the Cold War interpretation, where the Soviet Union seemed to be moving towards India and Afghanistan with a view to countering the presence of the US in Pakistan and Iran.
The Russian submarines have not been serving the defence purpose of India and had to be returned.

Russian defense industry lobbyists argued that the total collapse of their sector would be disastrous for the country.
Even though the Russians have withheld some of the most advanced technologies sought by China, there is little doubt that their assistance to the modernization of China's armed forces has been a significant positive contribution to their bilateral relationship.
Russian arms sales to China are so prominent in their bilateral relationship that they represent the main link between the countries, one that motivates and forms the basis of their deepening relationship.

However, if the submarine came to the surface to give fair warning, she herself became vulnerable to attack by ramming, concealed guns, or warships rushing to the rescue.
Submarines themselves employed more natural schemes of camouflage to blend in with operating conditions: white for arctic waters and different shades of gray for various parts of the world.

Many Russians are doing the same thing with hope in their hearts that these 118 sailors will see the sun after many days and nights trapped in the broken body of one of the world's largest (second only to the Russian ballistic-missile Typhoon-class subs) undersea combat ships.
Russian navy officials have been saying that sounds of the crew beating on the hull of the submarine were last heard on Tuesday, but today Admiral Popov said that the stricken submarine fell silent on Monday.

Since most Russian cases on CISG were heard by the International Commercial Arbitration Court (hereinafter referred to as 'ICAC') at the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry [5] (although references will be made to court decisions as well), it seems necessary to provide a brief overview of the activity of the ICAC.
Therefore, the arbitrators ruled that 'as long as this submarine [had] the possibility to be afloat, though with assistance of other exterior appliances, it [was] to be regarded as a sea vessel'.
In a few cases, Russian courts and the ICAC determined rights and obligations of the parties either under a trade usage that had been agreed to in the contract, or on the basis of practices that the parties have been found to have established between themselves.

Index of Russian Naval Ship Names
At this stage the table should more or less reflect the vast number of ships that exited the Russian naval inventory through the last decade, but there are probably still holes here and there (and I would expect that many of the units marked "active" are for practical purposes out of service).
Naturally, submarine activity is harder to gauge from open sources, but K 407 seems to have become this year's premier exercise missile-shooter; presumably a certain number of Delta IVs also continue to deploy on deterrence patrols.
Commissioning dates should be approached with caution; Russian practice does not necessarily comport with Western practice, and the dates indicated may variously represent launch, completion, or commissioning dates.
