		Ryan Janssen has posted another interview in his series on digital identity, and I daresay that if you’ve ever met Doc Searls, you can just feel his energy and passion about VRM coming through in this writeup.
		Ryan Janssen pinged me via my contact page last week to ask if I had time to share the story of how I came to be working on XRI, XDI, OpenID, i-cards, Higgins, and Identity Commons.
		Ryan’s really done his homework too — he even included a link at the end to the original XDI white paper that co-chair Geoffrey Strongin and I contributed at the start of the OASIS XDI Technical Committee in early 2004.

		Second, Ryan is not coming back, especially with so many fans who are desperate to get rid of the 4kids VAs because you hate the way they sound and they do not "deserve" to be the voice actors for the Sonic games.

		As for my opinion, I hold Ryan in higher regard simply because his voice suited Sonic perfectly, and it had a far better range of emotion and tone.
		Jason just simply lacks the energy Ryan put into the role, and from trailers of the next-gen titles, it looks like that is something he refuses to work on.
		The only reason why he sounded bad in Shadow The Hedgehog and some of Riders was because he was trying to hard to be Drummond, something which is nice to see him at least attempt to do.

		In an email he has sent to fans ahead of his monthly newsletter on RyanDrummond.com, Drummond has explained how SEGA made a decision to replace the entire Game Voiceover Cast of the Sonic games with the Voiceover Cast from the US Dub 'SONIC X'; cartoon, without letting him know about it.
		Fans have been torn between hatred towards SEGA, based on sympathy for Ryan's 'disrespectful' sacking, and indifference on the grounds that voice actors do not necessarily alter the gaming experience.
