The men's volleyball team heads to the OUA finals against Queen's on Tuesday.

The Rams were held scoreless 6 and a quarter minutes and never really got back on track as McMaster opened up a bigger and bigger lead.
MAC was ahead by 10 points, 43-33 by 9:45 and although Ryerson got back to within 6 (43-37) at 7:45 another 7-0 run by the Marauders put their lead back in double digits.
While Ryerson outscored McMaster 7-4 in the remaining time it was not enough to affect the outcome.

A buddy who Mckenzie played hockey with was applying to Ryerson because the Rams were known for their hockey at the time.
Arriving at Ryerson in 1961, McKenzie had two goals: To do well in school and to make the most of a chance to play college hockey.
The team went on to post a 4-1 record and McKenzie went on to accept his coveted athlete of the year award, but it was the last year a football jersey was ever donned in the name of the Ryerson Rams.

Trying to start anew, the Ryerson Rams men’s volleyball team began the 2006-2007 season on a better note than it finished the year before, reeling off seven consecutive victories.
The Rams started the game strong, trailing only once in the first set 21-20, eventually taking it 25-21, in which their lead was never more than four points.
With the win, the Rams are tied for first with Queen’s with 16 points in the OUA, and rank sixth overall in CIS standings.

In my year at Ryerson I have observed a student body capable of consuming almost any fad, scene or trend, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.
Now the guys with the fauxhawks are arguing over who gets to wear the Ryerson throwback jerseys, and the girls who used to like to flip athletes the finger are compelled to wave big foam ones.
Simply put, on the astronomically small chance that someday the most popular thing at this university is to support the Rams, I will be the coolest person who ever walked the campus.

The Badgers were victorious against Ryerson, a noted rival of Brock in the 2-0 victory that took place at Brock on Sept. 18.

The Lancers started the second half holding the Rams off the scoreboard again for another five minutes as they nailed six baskets to increase their lead to 26 points.
Despite the fouls, the Lancer offense continued to put points on the board and were able to maintain their lead throughout the half en route to the victory.

The Stingers caught a break at the beginning of the third period when the Rams were called for a delay of game penalty which left both teams with four players on the ice.
Concordia followed Ryerson's example from the second period with a goal just over a minute in on a deflection goal by Edin Burazerovic to tie the game 1-1.
It wouldn't take long for the Stingers to earn their first win of their year in overtime and Page to show that his earlier miss was nothing more than a fluke.
