Received a grant from The Sprout Fund to begin development of the next phase of Happenings, an influential Pittsburgh listserv.
Developed a customized version of Chrysanthemum for performance art troupe Sarrogit, used at the opening of James Turrell: Into The Light at the Mattress Factory.
I've been invited to co-teach, with Kristin Hughes of CMU, a digital media seminar at Kun Shan University of Technology (Taiwan) in December.

The Mattress Factory Garden Party was a mob scene.
(Valet parking, oy!) Buckeye was great, especially for closing with "California Stars," the Planter's Punch was tasty, and Sarrogit closed the evening with their usual trippy visual aplomb.
And the eggs were so lovely: Many, many artists donated these decorated eggs for a silent auction.

Pittsburgh artist Heather Mallak has applied to Sprout twice: Early in the fund’s history, she contacted them regarding performance troupe Sarrogit but received no response.
Then, in November of 2002, Mallak’s Pgh Monkey House project was given the go-ahead with a $2,500 award from Sprout.
