Following last month's nationwide elections, members of the SFSU chapter of the College Republicans were confronted by an angry mob simply for setting up a table and handing out political literature.
The case of Tatiana Menaker, a Russian Jewish emigré and former SFSU student, is an example of the latter indignity.
And Sheldon Axler, dean of the SFSU College of Science, described slogans such as "Down with Zionism" and "Israel is a terrorist state" as "legitimate political expression." Anti-Zionism has indeed achieved a level of acceptance at SFSU and at universities throughout America and western Europe.

Derek Wray, President of the SFSU College Republicans, told Front Page Magazine that an angry mob of Palestinian students attacked the club’s table, as well as individual members of the Republican club who were handing out pro-Bush/Cheney campaign materials.
The SFSU Palestinian student attack on non-Jewish students who support Israel suggests the potential for a ramping up of attacks on college campuses by pro-Palestinian groups.
Maybe the College Republicans at SFSU ought to go to court and sue the school for dereliction of duty, while filing some assault and battery charges at the people who attacked them.
