One must understand that by saying "...whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also," Jesus obviously never intended to condone the behavior of a brawler or a contentious person.
In the context of Jewish and middle eastern cultures, specifically during the time of Christ, the biggest customary insult was to pull someone's beard, spit on his face and body and slap him on the cheek.
However, Jesus never suggested that if the slapping continues, or if the person starts striking you with fists and clubs you should stand there and be the object of his aggression.

 Team Random
Tests complete: Gruntling (handing out confectionary with great courage under fire); Pirates (arrr!); freeform - Stocking Pepsi fridge with Coke, and Coke fridge with Pepsi (extra points were awarded for that one).
All tests must be witnessed by a member of Team Random, or else you must provide documentary evidence (photos for example, going out on a limb).
Let it be known that while pirates may form part of the random sillyness test, that does not count as fulfilling this test too.

Modern DNA tests have confirmed the guilt of a Virginia man who had proclaimed he was innocent of murder and rape even as he was strapped into the electric chair and executed more than a decade ago, the governor announced yesterday.
Garafooli should get a little credit this time for at least noting that some aren't appreciating her grandstanding efforts, but of course they are slapped with the “conservative”' label, unlike anybody in Sheehan's camp, who go unlabeled though they clearly are on the farthest reaches of the left.

 Windows Server vs Linux
Your production network isn't a place for you to be trying out new technologies for your enterprise.
By setting up a test network and a process for validating new systems, you'll be sure to make the new technology work out of the gate, streamline deployment and not make your users feel like guinea pigs.
