		Although SNL is well-known as the launchpad for many successful careers, a few cast members have died tragically young.
		SNL is one of the few shows on television to have its in- and off-season reruns aired out of its original broadcast sequence.
		Over the years SNL has almost always been broadcast live in the Eastern and Central time zones, in spite of the expletive spoken by Charles Rocket in 1981.

		We have heard too many unfortunate stories of people who have traveled far and wide, only to be told at the last minute their tickets would not be honored.
		Since SNL (in addition to any other shows taped at NBC) does not have a snail-mail ticket policy any longer, they have recently adopted an email based lottery system for tickets, with specifics as to where to email your requests and when to email them announced mid summer.
		Again, while this is how they claim they are filling their audience, the truth at SNL is that nothing is standard and frequently ticket-holders will not know if they are getting a seat or not until literally the very last minute.

		What happened was that SNL played the prerecorded audio and vocals from the wrong song (the other one she sang).
		Since SNL is live theatre, I would like to see them require their musical guests to fall in step with that, and sing live with no pre-recorded tracks.

	Outside The Beltway : SNL Limbaugh Drug Skit Controversy
		I typically TiVo SNL and watch the opening skit and then fast forward, stopping for Weekend Update and any political sketch.
		I actually turned it off this week halfway through the opener, which consisted of some incredibly lame potty jokes that were apparently written by a 9-year-old.
		I did not see the skit but given that it was SNL I would bet it was indeed pretty funny.
