Spad was taken over in 1914 by the famous aviation pioneer, Louis Blériot, when the firm was experiencing serious financial difficulties.
Spads were also used by the British, the Italians, the Belgians, and the Russians.
At the conclusion of hostilities, contracts for an additional 10,000 Spads, 6,000 of which were to be produced for the United States, were cancelled.

The Société Pour L'Aviation et ses Dérivés, commonly known as SPAD, was a French aircraft manufacturer responsible for producing a number of significant fighter aircraft during the First World War.
SPAD began by building the "A-series" of pusher two-seat biplanes.
The SPAD was most notably flown in service by Count Francesco Baracca and Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker, two of the Entente highest scoring aces of WWI with 34 and 26 victories respectively.

 1/72 SPAD 12
The Spad 12 is unusual because it uses the Deperdussin system of control, which is a steering wheel for aileron control mounted on a U-shaped piece of tubing connected to the elevators.
After a lot of looking at the Pegasus wings and comparison to Revell Spad 13 wings, I realised that the Revell wings had the same distance between ribs, and also importantly the same distance between the strut attachments, so ribs could be safely removed at the tips and next to the centre section.
On the Spad 12 I first cut a big circle in tin-foil, and applied it wet to the model (tin-foil is so thin, that it sticks by surface-tension), then sprayed white, next I did a circle the size of the white roundel part, in the middle of that I cut a smaller circle.

There are multiple signal transduction pathways: cascade of information from plasma membrane to nucleus in response to an extracellular stimulus in living organisms.
We have developed an integrated database SPAD to understrand the overview of signaling transduction.
SPAD is divided to four categories based on extracellular signal molecules (Growth factor, Cytokine, and Hormone) and stress, that initiate the intracellular signaling pathway.
