  SRBMs - 1
Several countries are now producing and/or developing SRBM systems, while many other countries have purchased missiles or missile technologies from one or more of the missile producers.
New SRBM systems are in development in several countries.
North Korea has produced its own version of the SCUD B, as well as the SCUD C, an extended-range version of the SCUD B. SRBM Comparison

The most recent models of both SRBMs may be equipped with global positioning system (GPS) guidance systems which improves their accuracy to a CEP of 30-45 meters.
Even if all 700 SRBMs were used and all reached their targets, it would only equal 14 sorties.
For simplicity of analysis, I assume that the lethal radius of each missile is 60 meters, as would be the case with a high explosive warhead (the most logical for the destruction of buildings).

Except for the 86 SRBMs expended against Israel (40 launches) and against targets in Saudi Arabia and Gulf States (46 launches) since 18 Jan, no other degrading of this asset with the exception of the fixed erector/launchers -- can presently be confirmed.
The key question for the Iraqi mobile SRBM force in southeastern Iraq opposite the KTO is the status of mobile launchers, reload missiles, and missile fueling/checkout facilities in light of the rapid coalition ground advance.
In any case, the SRBM assets in the southeast which remain operational are probably disorganized and short of essential supplies or equipment.

When the state space for the SRBMs is a d-dimensional hypercube, we develop an approach to establish the weak convergence in certain sense for a slightly refined finite element estimator from our previous implemented algorithm (currently, complete convergence analysis is an open issue for all of existing estimators in this area).
The modification is slight since it only has minor influence to the original algorithm in determining the entry values of some associated coefficient matrix by re-selecting basis functions and properly organizing them, however, the condition number for the matrix is reduced and hence the numerical stability is improved.
All of the discussions are under a completely-S condition which is as general as the one to guarantee the existence (in distribution) of an SRBM and under a general Borel integrable condition for the stationary density of the SRBM.

Beijing’s growing SRBM force provides China with a military capability that avoids the political and practical constraints associated with the use of nuclear-armed missiles.
In addition to SRBM and MRBM development, Iran is likely to develop space launch vehicles to put satellites into orbit and to establish the technical base from which it could develop IRBMs/ICBMs capable of delivering payloads to Western Europe and the United States.
An SRBM or MRBM could be launched at the United States from a forward-based sea platform within a few hundred kilometers of US territory.

Within the next several years, the size of China’s SRBM force is expected to grow substantially.
The CSS-X-7 SRBM—better known by its export designator, the M-11—also is a solid propellant, road-mobile SRBM with an estimated range of 300 km.

The missile and its 8-wheeled transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) vehicle bear a resemblance to the Russian SS-1C Scud-B. The missile was originally developed for export market, but was later adopted by the PLA in the early 1990s as a tactical theatre missile for its ground forces.
Additionally both Pakistan and Iran have developed their own indigenous SRBM systems which appear to be similar to the M-11.
Unlike the DF-15 (M-9, CSS-6) SRBM system fielded by the PLA Second Artillery Corps (strategic missile force) in the 1990s, the DF-11 is intended to be deployed by ground forces as a conventional long-range weapon to fulfil the gap in firing range between an artillery rocket system (50~100km) and a strategic surface-to-surface missile (over 600km).

Over the next several years, China’s SRBM force is expected to continue to grow.
The primary focus of this new conventional mission is regarded as a key element in the PLA’s effort to upgrade its capability for high technology warfare in the region and, in particular, with regards to Taiwan.

Several countries could develop a mechanism to launch SRBMs, MRBMs, or land-attack cruise missiles from forward-based ships or other platforms; a few are likely to do so-more likely for cruise missiles-before 2015.
Non-missile means for delivering weapons of mass destruction do not provide the same prestige, deterrence, and coercive diplomacy as ICBMs; but they are less expensive, more reliable and accurate, more effective for disseminating biological warfare agents, can be used without attribution, and would avoid missile defenses.

The missiles were identified as four types of SRBM: DF-11 (M-11) DF-11A (Mod 2), DF-15 (M-9) and a DF-15 variant.

Other reports suggested that Al Hussein was an Iraqi identification of the Soviet-supplied SS-1c `Scud B' missile, or even the Brazilian SS-300 which was also thought to be a modified `Scud B'.
Shipments of guidance components were being made to Iraq between 1990 and 1995 and, following the expulsion of the UNSCOM inspectors in August 1998, it must be assumed that Iraq will try to re-open its missile production facilities.
