STS 110 TAs lead seminar sections and grade sort essays and term papers and final exams, while STS 101 CAs grade midterm and final exams, interact with students about their major projects, assist the instructor and students with audio-visual needs, and provide the instructor with independent input on grades for student projects.
STS 101 and STS 110 employ a number of TAs and CAs and their roles are conventional.
Unlike STS 101, which is taken by non- majors as well as by STS majors and majors-to-be, STS 200 is limited to STS majors who have taken at least four STS Core courses or who have the permission of the instructor.
