SVI is also planning to shoot a 3-D seismic program in the 1.1 million acre offshore Hammamet block later in 2006.
As the price per share of the private placement by SVI was higher than Storm's initial carrying value per share, generally accepted accounting principles mandate the recognition of a non-cash dilution gain of $3,575,000.
The carrying amount of the investment on the Company's balance sheet represents the transfer value of the investment in SVI to the Company under the Plan of Arrangement, plus the costs of participation in and the dilution gain accruing to Storm as a result of the private placement by SVI in 2005.

Concurrently with the Company's purchase of a 50% interest, SVI raised an additional $2,200,000 under a private placement memorandum, with participants under the private placement committed to providing an additional $4,400,000 on or prior to June 30, 2004.
